Babies love to play hide and seek for a reason!
Drop the ball through the hole in the box and be surprised when it disappears from your sight, only to reappear again a few moments later. This game is engaging because it naturally appeals to the baby who is developing an understanding of object permanence.
Includes a set of 3 well-designed boxes from the North Pole collection, 3 textured balls and 2 colorful balls.
Two ways to play:
1. Tummy Time Play: At 6 months, baby can play on his or her tummy, dropping a textured ball into the hole. The ball disappears inside, and reappears when it rolls out of the box's hole, where baby easily retrieves it. To add a challenge, the set includes soft balls that are slightly larger and will require baby to push down through the hole, developing upper body muscles and hand control.
2. Sitting Play: By 12 months, your little one will stack the 3 boxes and drop a textured ball into a hole at the top of the tower. The ball disappears inside the tower, and reappears when it exits the hole in the bottom box, where it is easily retrieved. Each ball has a different diameter. Some fit easily through the hole in the box, and some need a gentle push to get through.
Each ball has a different texture to stimulate the sense of touch.
Age: 6 months and up.
